Canterbury Cathedral
The Canterbury Cathedral is a Roman Catholic affiliated place of worship located in Kent. This Gothic-Romanesque cathedral was sanctified in 1070 and it’s been under renovation until 1834.
The cathedral has five towers all in all with a height of 236 feet. It used to have a spire which was 190 feet tall but was ruined in 1705.
The Canterbury Cathedral was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site with inscription of Canterbury Cathedral, St Augustine’s Abbey, and St Martin’s Church. It was inscribed in 1988.
