Here is my experience of attening a centruy old Bavarian tradition as a German living abroud. I still think back to this event with fondness and hope that you guys can learn something new. Enjoy!
The "Leonhardiritt" is a Bavarian Tradition that was first started in 1436. The tradition consists of a procession through the village with horses and carriages in the honour of Saint Leonard of Noblac.
I attended the "Leonhardiritt" in Hundham (about an hour south of Munich) on the 4th of November 2017.
The procession started at around 9AM and lasted for around 30 minutes.
