Hello everybody! Wanted to see the beach today, namely the Stanwell Park beach and put our feet in it. It was very hot, it was almost 40 degrees celsius.
It has a rock pool, a lookout, great fishing location and of course the beach. There are also great looking locals too.
When it gets this hot in Sydney, we either go to the beach or to the shopping center for some free airconditioning. Yes we try to save electricity this way, ahahah.
The weather before we headed out to the National Park was really humid and saw no dark clouds. I said National Park because Stanwell Park is located inside the Royal National Park of Sydney.
The drive
The drive through the National Park was intense and gloomy. Soon as we hit the park, it started to rain. Before that, the dark clouds rolled in.
Road was wet, raining bucket loads and foggy AF.
Stanwell Tops
Stanwell Tops is a very popular lookout for tourists as well as locals. There is a hotdog stand here that you should really try. The coffee is just to keep you awake for the long drive. Check it out, click on Google Map.
Got to Stanwell but due to the crappy condition we just went to the lookout and had a better idea of the weather.
Cloud covered mountains, slashing rain, wet roads, wet everything, it was disgusting. Needless to say, it was a disappointing day. We headed to the shopping center and ate our blues away.
