23.7.17 It's Sunday in Penang. Traffic is kind compared to Saturday. It's 10am and after my son's brief frolick in the hotel pool, we checked out of Heritage 1926, heading to the beach.

Arrived at one of the public beaches in Penang. The site we chose is away from all the beach activities. It's quiet so I can hear the sound of waves clearly. Invigorating!

While hubby is canvassing the shores for seashells I'm hiding in the shade of a huge tree. 'Candle princess' 😆.

We, in Malaysia are truly blessed. Sun, sea and sand we have them all and have them abundantly. Let's take care of our beaches by keeping them clean for future generations.
It's 11am and off we go to one of my favourite stops, Balik Pulau for Penang durian and some laksa and char kuey tiao.
