Kalimera! (Good morning!) I just got back from the island of Corfu, in Greek language Kerkyra, in Greece.
I had never visited Greece before, and now I can't wait to go back. In a week, I learned that the people of Corfu are so kind and simple, like the life they live. I also learned that you cannot have a meal without many cats surrounding you, and who blames them when the local food is that good. The sea color and beaches are so incredible, you feel like you are stuck in a postcard.
During my stay, I was able to visit the whole island by car and reach the Western, Southern and Northern coast. If I had to choose one place to stay in, I could not, even though I highly recommend the fishermen town of Benitses, which is small and alive and the ideal place for a relaxing holiday.
I was also able to reach the islands of Paxos and Antipaxos, which are near Corfu, by boat, an experience that you should not miss while staying in Corfu.
This place was just magical, and I hope to go back one day. Thank you, Greece!
