The last time I went on a big trip, it included hours of bus rides that occasionally broke down in the middle of nowhere, staying in old rustic hostels, and sleeping in sheets that I'm pretty sure hadn't been changed for a little too long. It was more of a backpacking - roughing it kind of trip. So this trip to San Diego, let's just say it was a very nice refreshing vacation.
While in San Diego, and I tried to visit as many places as we could in five days. We ended up exploring more beaches than the city itself though, because the beaches made for good photography, and who doesn't love walking along the shore. Although we did get to know the city pretty well. Unintentionally. Because we may have taken some detours, but I'm gonna blame that on my GPS telling me to go the wrong way.
This is Coronado Resort. Hands down my number one suggestion of places to go, if you ask me. This place was really cool not only because of the ocean right there for you to go swim in and catch the sunsets, but there were so many touristy little shops, and some huge hotels that overlooked the ocean.
I have a pretty funny story to tell in my next post. Hope to see you guys there :)
