Hi Steemian friends,
On a trip to fife in Scotland this summer we stayed just outside the village of Elie in Fife. Plenty of walks along the coast to be had and on this day we took a walk from Elie towards St. Monas. We had wonderful weather that day, with beautiful views out to sea. As we walked we could see Lady’s Tower not far away so decided to take a closer look.
Now a ruin the tower was built in 1760 for Lady Janet Anstruther who used it as a summer house and for getting changed in before bathing in the sea. There was a bell attached to warn villages nearby to stay away while she bathed so her modesty could be protected.

Bye for now and have fun!
