Hello my fellow Steemians,
I'm still in Munich and yesterday we went to Schwabing, a part of the city that has beautiful old houses, nice quiet streets, lots of trees, and the University nearby so there are lots of young people.
At the turn of the last century, Schwabing was the place where the artists lived and worked, later a lot of actors and generally people involved in the film business loved Schwabing as the place to hang out and party. Nowadays living there is really expensive cause the rents are high so it's a district where well educated successful people like to live because it's close to the city centre but still quiet and with the English Gardens nearby.
I took photos of some of the beautiful houses, tried sketching a bit and ended up taking sneaky peeks into some of the beautiful private gardens some of the villas have.
All in all a great day with unusually hot weather so after walking around for so long we ended up in one of the beer gardens again.
Today is a rainy day so no sketching but I hope to get some more chances in the next few days.
Until then
