Pretty In Pink

Whilst trekking through the mountain valleys in Nepal we often came across children playing in the villages. Some seemed completely bemused by the cameras but most, like the two older girls in this one, ran forward to be photographed.

When this photo was taken I didn't have a digital camera or smartphone. I got the film printed when I returned to Kathmandhu and was able to send the prints to our guide. He delivered them them to the kids on his next trek. Apparently they were delighted with them and stuck the on the walls of their home!
