It is impossible to not at least get a chuckle out of this and I dunno if it was intentional but it certainly makes the product memorable.
It is advertised everywhere in the Bangkok airport (Don Muang.) Every 20 paces or so there is another picture of a pretty lady with a beverage that is meant to be good for your skin. I don't believe that this is the case at all but it certainly makes me laugh.
Now the thing that gets me about this is that Giffarine is not just some mom and pop corner store that doesn't know any better. They are a massive multi-national company that employed tons of people, many of them are doctors and researchers. I wonder if anyone mentioned it to the top brass that "you might wanna rethink the name of that drink!"
Oh well, this is just one of the many reasons why I enjoy living in this country so much. I think it is hilarious but maybe i am just being juvenile.
