After a 3am wake-up, hour long taxi (only 20 Malaysian Ringgit, or around £4!) and a very sleepy arrival into Kuala Lumpur International Airport, I managed to catch my 5.45 flight to Kathmandu.
The flight wasn’t without issue (discovering that my bag wasn’t on the airport carousel, but instead in a pile of bags on the floor in the middle of the airport), but overall I made it and that’s the main thing.
My first impressions of Kathmandu are that it’s intense and exciting in equal measure.
It’s a city of constant motion, with millions of people seemingly on the go, all the time.
I’ve met up with a friend out here and given the remoteness of Nepal, I won’t necessarily be posting much on Steemit over the next few weeks, but I will make up for it in due course.
In the meantime, it’s time to continue exploring!
Peace,
