After spending a couple of nights on Koh Mook island which is one of the five islands that are all a short distanced boat ride apart we were ready to challenge the next island Koh Kradan. We had been told so much about this island, saying that it was a island know for it's crystal blue waters and long white sandy beach. Ready and all packed our boat ride was awaiting at the shore line to take us across to Koh Kradan Island which is about a 40 minute boat ride across.
A nice smooth boat ride across the Andaman Sea with clear blue skies and the morning sun glaring down on us heading to this paradise island was making us feel like we were on a Gilligan Island expedition we could see the lush green island and it's white sandy beach in the distant and actually couldn't wait to hit the shores.
In a matter of no time we would be stepping into these clear turquoise waters and onto that wonderful white sandy beach we heard so much about. The Eastern side of Kradan features Yang Long Beach, while the western side is rich with coral reefs teeming with fish of different species and shades.
The island has many resorts that will offer you rooms and bungalows ,from very simple huts, tents to luxury bungalows we opt for a average bamboo made bungalow which was 2 levels very basic roomy enough for all of us and had everything we needed which cost us $15 US per person per night right on the beach front....perfect.
After checking in it was time to relax a little after another heavy night on Koh Mook, have some lunch and a couple cool drinks and decide which part of the island we were going to explore first. As we come in on the front part of the white sandy island which is called Yang Long Beach we decided to track through to the other side of the island which we were told is rich in coral reefs and many different species of fish and unusual looking coastal plants.
So of we when through the rain-forest it was so lush green and tranquil you could hear all the birds chirping and singing away, echoing through the rain-forest with partial sun rays screening down on us through these enormous trees truly amazing.
Coming out of the rain-forest after a enjoyable refreshing walk to our surprise we stumbled onto this white sandy beach with such clear crystal waters many beautiful species of plants and trees and no one to be see in sight for miles just a amazing piece of heaven.
Expressions on them faces tells you all...!!
Beautiful Andaman Sea Coastal Plants in there natural environment...!!
Even a local Andaman Sea Bird decided to drop in for a piece of the action...!!
And some local carbs searching around for there afternoon snack....!!
What a glorious action packed day tracking through a amazing rain forest only to bring us to the most stunning part of the island and then tracking back to the other side of the island it was time to enjoy a nice romantic dinner by the moonlight.
It has been five days since we started on this amazing journey and every single day has been breath taking action packed with all these sites we have come across and we really hadn't yet seen all of Koh Kradan Island so we all had decided to have another day and night on this beautiful paradise.
