Hello All!
Here is my latest and final post about my New York/Vermont. Here are posts 1, 2, 3, and 4 if you wish to see it all! I did forget to say in the last few posts that the temperature when I was there ranged from 15 degrees F to -10 degrees F (or -9 C to -23 C). It was cold, but when you are all suited up it is not so bad.
This posts will be dedicated to the trip from upstate NY to the Grand Central Station to Staten Island (where I spent New Years). I sincerely hope you enjoy the video and photography!
The Video
The Photos
These are some of the sights from the train around Yonkers and Up-State NY. It is a lot more spectacular if you see them in person I must say!
I met this awesome lady on the train and we even hung out after. She took me through Grand Central Station and told me some cool things like:
(1) In the photo on the top right we see a single black tile on the archway. This is to remind everyone of when in WW2 they blacked out the mural on the ceiling in preparation for war.
(2) An apartment that was converted into a restaurant that we visited, The Campbell Bar. Could you imagine living here? It would be amazing.
Above is Times Square... Lots of traffic, people, and business.
My photos of the Staten Island Ferry and the Statue of Liberty in all of her glory!
