I have been to Sihanoukville so many times I cannot count, I have seen many changes over the years, the first time I visited there in 2007 it was mostly backpackers.
The town was pretty rustic back then, times they have a changed. These photos are from 2012.

The above 3 photos show the Freelance Bar, once named the Freedom Bar, sadly now closed down was once an icon of Sihanoukville.
JJ's was the number one place to eat an English breakfast in Sihnoukville, again sadly gone and the owner has since died.
Cheap Charlie Bar was short lived and long gone.
The Liming Guesthouse was a fancy looking place, looked great in the town centre, again now closed.
