Let’s travel the world and experience the best destinations all over the world, ready to go on a trip?
The world has so much to offer and even after four years of traveling I only saw 13% of the globe! My biggest problem is to find a way in which I travel an earn money at the same time, so if you have any suggestions they are welcome.
But me trying to travel more is not what this post is about, this post is about the best travel destinations to go to in March! The best destinations to see wildlife that is.
This post will take you to Australia, South Africa, Argentina and Chile! So now you know where to book your tickets to.
Blue Whales
In 1997 scientists discovered most important nursing ground for Blue Whales in the world. Since then a lot changed, a Blue Whale center has been set up, there are touristy day trip you can take and the spot is getting more popular every day. One thing did not chance, the Blue Whale still uses the spot as the nursing ground and by nursing I mean the calves grow with 90kilogram a day! To see all this natural beauty go to the Gulf of Corcovado.
Ningaloo Reef
In 2012 I lived in Australia for a year and during my stay there I ended up in Western Australia, I visited the east coast of this beautiful continent before, but if you like nature and wildlife the Westcoast wins for sure!
I was lucky enough to work on a dolphin resort for almost 5 months and I must say I will never forget my time there. Being around dolphins every day just living the dream! So everybody make your way over to Monkey Mia Resort to be part of it.
While you are on the Westcoast also visit Ningaloo Marina Park to see the 12meter long Whale Sharks.
“just to make sure you know where to go!”
There are great tours you can take to see and swim with the Whale Sharks. Go between March and April, Ningaloo is Australia’s largest fringing coral reef, so you want be disappointed.
Do you like Meerkats?
Do you? After we focused on the ocean with the two previous spots to go to, it’s time to go land based for a bit.
The Meerkat is a small carnioran belonging to the mongoose family. The Meerkats live in Botswana, Namibia, Angola and South Africa. A group of Meerkats contains about 20 members but can grow up to 50 if you are lucky. My pick is to see them in Addo Elephant Natinal Park in South Africa between February and April to see youngsters as well.
Hunter Killer Whales
Back to the oceans again for this one, if you think the Meerkats are a little too cute and peacefull for you the next destination has you covert!
Do you want to see Killer Whales burst onto beaches to eat seal pups? Sounds spectacular. Visit Valdes Peninsula late March in Argentina to be part of it.
From December sea lions go there to mate and give birth, but then around late march the pups line up to go for their first swim in the ocean. That’s when the cruelty of nature is on full display.
As always thanks for stopping by, witch destination has your preference? Will be back next month with other destinations to visit in this beautiful world!
I will still share with you the best festivals to go to in the world this week!
As always thanks for stopping by my Steemit friends
