Hi to the all the Steemit Community! Today I’ll tell u how it was my trip to Mérida (Venezuela) back in 2010, for the very first time, specifically, to the Zoo Park Chorros de Milla.
This Zoo Park, was build in 1958, it's located in the Mérida state – Venezuela, which harbors species of diverse animals of the area and of all Venezuela. It’s surrounded by Mila River. Annually, received more than 300k for visitors, making this Zoo Park the most visited Zoo Park of the whole country.
For 2010, after I reconnected with my old friends from primary school (about 8 years without seen the whole group together), we decided to make this trip to Mérida for a whole week and just in the trip was where I got the chance to know and appreciate this wonderful treasure of place.
The entrance captivated me, cuz there we appreciate the sculpture of the India Caribay, giving us the welcome to this magic place where the entire nature, would be the biggest attraction of our visit.
Once there, we appreciate a lot of the species of animals which lives there, in captivity or wildly (FYI: I’m not a Zoo fan, for obvious reasons ‘caging animals’, but It was part of the trip to this Zoo park), and for the first time ever, I could see the Spectacled Bear (With a very dark black hair, beautiful and imposing!).
Leaving the Zoo, we found this gorgeous jet of water, with a bridge perfectly placed there to make you feel even more close to the nature show that Mérida give us on this trip.
Reaching our final destination, we could hear, while we were walking into to it, the way the water fell at the Tibisay’s Falls, making us a loudly but harmonical invitation to enjoy the fresh weather and the serenity that you feel just for been right there, in the right moment.
For me, it was a unique experience; that would never be repeated again. I enjoy it with a great company and at right moment. I’m still in love of that place, of the weather, of the peace that I almost touch in the air; the love that after all this time, still feeling and it keeps growing inside me with no control.
