You likely won’t get a more ‘Martian-esque’ scene than the Timanfaya National Park. The Fire Mountains (Montañas del Fuego) were made throughout the eighteenth century when more than 100 volcanoes ejected. The wonderful remains were proclaimed a national park and are a prevalent vacation spot.
