Hi Steemians,
Today we are going to visit a historical Mosque in Istanbul.
The Kılıç Ali Pasha Mosque is a great mosque (masjid) that decorates the Bosphorus Strait of Istanbul’s European side. It was built (1580) by the chief architect Mimar Sinan and was named after Kılıç Ali Pasha, an important admiral of the Ottoman navy.
The Kılıç Ali Pasha mosque complex (Külliye) includes a medrese (school), türbe (graveyard and tomb), an ablution fountain and a Turkish bath (Hamam).
The ablution (al-wuḍū) fountains in the courtyard of the mosque.
