My Dream Place

We all have our dream destinations, places we want to visit before we die. When I hear the word paradise , all I can think of is sitting on a beach, listening to the ocean. My dream place would have to be Bali, Indonesia . It is a lush island paradise with breathtaking mountain scenery, tropical beaches and friendly people.

Fun fact:

Balinese babies are carried everywhere during the first three months of their lives. This is because they are not allowed to touch the ground. They are considered little angels and their connection to the spirits is protected by not touching the earth. When the time has come and they are allowed to touch the ground, a big ceremony (Nyabutan) is held.
