I went to Mexico 2 years and a half ago for 3 months and I'm still living there. I think that says a lot, don't you? hehee
So I signed a contract for 3 months with a modeling agency there and I went. I was scared, super scared.. It's Mexico you know, everyone was telling me not to go because of the danger in there. But I guess that excited me more.
It can be dangerous yes, but if you don't watch out for yourself, if you are not careful or if you go to dangerous neighborhoods.
If you don't go out alone by night, if you stay in the safe areas which are many neighborhoods or if you don't grab any cab from the street, then you should be safe!
I love Mexico. Is amazing how beautiful can it be and how good and giving the people are! I really don't understand how this many bad things can happen when the energy is so good!
The city is amazing, even though is very very poluated...
And they have the most beautiful beaches in the world!
(Tulum,QR)
(Puerto escondido, Oaxaca)
(Acapulco, Guerrero)
(Balandra, La Paz)
(Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco)
And one of the best music festivals in the world also:
When I first arrived there I really felt like in a soap opera.. Everybody was called Jose Armando, Marilupe, Fernando etc and it was funny cause I felt like that's not real life, I felt like I was actually give it a character in a mexican movie or something and I was acting like it. Arriba arriba SOMBREROOOS !! y Tequilaaa
Mexico is a beautiful country where you can never get bored, but living in the city is also stressing because of the traffic, because of the polution or because of the rain, in the summer, when is raining season.
I have met and lived here with people all over the world and I have learned a lot from them and from the experience of living alone in another country, on another continent.
I don't know if I will live here forever or not, I don't really think so, but the thing I know for sure is that my journey here will not end very soon.
Thank you Mexico for feeling like home to me!!
