Looking for a perfect evergreen vacation or even just a hangout with your families, friends, and colleagues? Indulge in and get a dip of yourself at Durano Eco Farm in Carmen, Cebu Philippines. The continuous flow of springwater at this site will give you an exceptional and an amazing dip.
Waters running through from mountain springs replenishes and fills up seven multi-level pools in Durano Eco Farm. The pools come in various sizes and depth- shallow for kids, deep for teens and adults, and one that’s a 12-foot plunge for those who want to dive.
These pools were made just to fit the surrounding environment. To give a pool-like structure and pool divisions, stones were arranged and tiles were placed into the surrounding following the contour of the hillside.
Spring water continuously flows down through the multi-level pools and rejoins the bigger river beyond assuring you that you’re swimming in a clean, natural and unchlorinated water.

AN EVERGREEN VACATION
Durano Eco Farm and Spring Resort in Carmen, Cebu has been one of my most unforgettable travelling experience in Cebu yet. What I like about travelling to some parts of Cebu is that the refreshing thing that something could give me and I think there’s nothing that could give me that kind of refreshing thing I am actually looking for- but it’s the nature which invites you and captures your attention to be somehow refreshed.
My experience in Durano perhaps was so cool! Aside from the very cold waters which originates from the mountain springs eventually give the water a colder temperature and it’s very natural. For me, it was so worth it! The evergreen environment which captivates your soul makes it enlivened and refreshed.
What I also love about there is the sense of remoteness and verdancy about the place. You’re surrounded by a riot of tall and short trees and lush plants, and the music of the flowing spring that slowly becomes a roaring as it joins the bigger river.
Perhaps, when I visited there the weather was lightly rainy but somehow the sun shone. It was very uncommon to me that dragonflies go over the pool and fly around. Seems like they’re very friendly while your swimming.
The resort is a very perfect place when you’re looking for an evergreen, natural, refreshing and peaceful vacation. Its more than worth it when you try hangout there.

Located in the town of Carmen, the Durano Eco Farm and Spring Resort is less than a 30-minute drive from a side street in the town center. From the Super Metro store in Carmen, take a left on the third street called Nacional. You’ll know that it’s the correct street if you see the billboards of Shemberg Biotech Corporation and St. Benedict’s Monastery.
The town of Carmen is an hour’s drive going north from either the cities of Mandaue, Mactan, or Cebu. If you do not plan to bring your own vehicle, you can take a bus that leaves several times a day for the town from the North Bus Terminal in Mandaue City. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Poblacion where you can take a habal-habal (local word for motorcycles for hire) to the farm.
