Located in the middle of Australia, is Kings Canyon.
The basic walk is family friendly.
The rim walk is a little more difficult and longer.
The difficult part is the steep beginning, and I noticed a bit of vertigo experienced by a couple of people, near the wooden walkway.
The day was overcast, with a little bit of rain in the morning, which kept the temperature at around 26 degrees Celsius, making the rim walk very comfortable.
On a hotter day, you would need to take it easier and bring water. Even bringing a nice lunch would make for a nice break.
Opportunity is a door in the middle of nowhere. 😉
