Today I had to go to the lodge by helicopter as the road was closed and the place is absolutely remote, in the middle of nowhere.
Fiords
The scenic road to cross mountains and lakes was absolutely stunning.
And actually, it seems that there are a huge amount of helicopters around. Owned privately but mainly owned by company.
It's a huge business.
Sometimes the road is not enough to go where you want to be.
Emerald River
In New Zealand, luxury means being in the wilderness, quiet place, harmony with nature, somewhere pure.
People are coming here to disconnect from reality. Their reality.
The reality of a lot of us : stressful and tiring.
I wish that this country will stay as pure as possible, because it makes me happy to think that there is still a place in the world where human being haven't destroyed it yet.
