Recently I was flying through a western country and they tried to make me go through the body scanner.
I REFUSED!
I believe we all deserve the choice to use or not use body scanners. In some countries though they almost insist on this dangerous process. When It happened to me I absolutely REFUSED!
This approach automatically makes you a suspicious individual. I told the airport security that I would submit to any scrutiny but not the body scanners. They seemed furious with me. The police told me that there was nothing to worry about and that body scannes were no more dangerous than a mobile phone.
I knew how to handle that question. I told them that I don't have a phone and haven't had one for years. They were not pleased but I steadfastly refused, and so I had to submit to swabs and an intimate body pat down.
None of this bothered me - stuff them!
The name of these body scanners were called Pro Vision and as with all body scanners they have massive potential health impacts. I have a lot of information on this subject and I will write future posts addressing the health and liberty issues of body scanners.
Once I made it through the check point I bought a beer at the cafe and asked all the staff there about what they thought. ALL of the staff said they refused to go through them and several of them had even got doctors notes saying that they could not physically deal with the radiation that body scanners emit!
Good for them! I will also get myself a doctors not to excuse me too! 😉
One final point to add here is that when I wanted to take a photo of the body scanner the police jumped on me and made me erase the photo. Why? I have thoughts but I don't want to express them yet on Steemit!
Although I will be covering this topic in depth in future posts the message is: AVOID BODY SCANNERS!
Stay safe my Steemit family! 😉

What was interesting was the reaction of the police! They wrote my name down and were quite rude to me. I won't tell you the name of the country but this seems to be the norm.... Actually I do want to tell you the name of this country: AUSTRALIA!
I believe that our bodies belong to us and I will never submit to being irradiated in a body scan.
