This evening we had a pretty nice sunset here in Vegas so I grabbed my camera and snapped a few pictures to share it with all my friends on Steemit.

This first picture is facing west out the front door of my home here. It wasn't a particularly spectacular sunset, no beautiful glaring sun...but the golden clouds were really nice, and that jet trail shooting through everything added a nice touch. It was quiet and peaceful...

Next I turned North and snapped this picture. You can see the tail end of Lone Mountain there on the left and then a range of mountains off in the distance. I'm not sure what they're called, if they even have a name... I wasn't able to get all of the car ports out of the way, but it's a nice shot nonetheless. The soft pink clouds were particularly nice...

Finally, this is the shot facing mostly East. That building that you see there is a school and I'm not sure what those mountains off in the distance are called. The pink and purple sky stole the show here! We don't always get a cool view pointing this way when the sun goes down, but today the clouds were just right!

I hope you enjoyed these few pictures of the sunset outside my home here in Las Vegas Nevada. It was a little chilly here today, I think it only got into the high 50's (hey that's chilly for us!).
