I missed yesterday's Monday Night Thoughts...
Today I slacked on the Noob Night Cryptocast!
So I think it's about time I come clean....
I took off for a spur of the moment trip to Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada....
I'm coming out west for a quick vacation to visit a part of my country I have never been to before...
And it started in Banff National Park at the famous Lake Louise...
Next I got through Yoho National Park and crossed the British Columbia border just in time to see the sunset come across the Rocky Mountains...
After spending the night in Revelstoke B.C., I woke up early and reached Kamloops where I ran into a tragic part of summers in the Canadian west...
A massive forest fire covered the highways for a good 45 minutes...
But things started to clear up the closer I got to the coast...I got through the lower mainland and reached the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal for a quick boat ride over to Vancouver Island...
So here I am....
On Vancouver Island for the next week and a half! I hope you join me over the next few days as I explore the island for the first time...
One of the biggest surprises that I've found so far since I've been here...
Palm trees! In Canada.....Seriously ;)
So that was the first 12 hours or so...Let's see what I will discover next...
