We had just arrived to Portugal and as the first thing, we got stuck in sand right there. After lots and lots of shoveling we were embarassed enough to ask help from lovely fellow traveller.
Even with help, we had to be creative with getting our van out of the deep pit we got ourselves. Finally when everything we could think of was in place, we made it!
We hope those security service employees sitting in their car next to us had popcorn and some good time watching this two hour movie of us shoveling sand🍿
How nice it would be to tell you that we got away with only few bruises and dirty jeans, but no. We have now been stuck in Porto for over a week, waiting for new car parts to arrive so we could change them.
Let's keep fingers crossed that everything goes fine when the parts arrive!
