As you guys know I am travelling a lot at the moment. Leaving the Caribbean life, to visit family in Holland, to take extra German classes in Berlin, to get a job in Switzerland.
Yeah, the last couple weeks have been very diverse I must say ;)
Of course they are not always as easy as everybody always thinks, but in the end it is quite okay actually. A lot of people who are digitally nomadding do the same, and they are perfectly fine with that being on the road always.
I am not like that, I like to be homebased at SOME location, it does not matter to me where that location is, but I just like having a stable place to go home to.
Stuff
Also I dont give a crap about stuff, I moved with just two suitcases with mostly clothes inside there. Furniture or thingies inside the house are not really my main focus of attention. They have never been actually, even when I had actually bought a house back in the days (god I sound old now).
I dont attach to things, I attach to people and places. Because I can see the good and the bad from where I lived all so clear now in retrospect
Back to the now!
Not to shabby working near this place right?
Im in Switzerland this week applying for three different jobs! Im located in a central location and drive to my potential employers every day. I am extremely tired in the nights from talking in a new language the whole day, and of presenting yourself. It is super fun though.
What also is fun is that I already seem to know a lot of people who also live in this country from previous jobs and I was totally not aware of that. For some reason this helps mentally, I dont exactly know why. A fake feeling of security perhaps?
Success is there!
I am already hired in one place that I really like actually, so that will make the other interviews easier. They will really have to bring their A-game for something better, to make me chance my mind.
And that is a good feeling. So today I can sit back and relax a little, maybe go for a drive up the mountain, or whatever.
Maybe I will just do nothing and chill with this background view all day. I dont know yet. Yeah that is indeed snow on top of the mountains there, I havent seen snow in 4 years. I can watch this all day :)
The world is a pool of options!
