United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the name of the country consisting of 7 emirates which are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras al Khaimah and Umm al Qaiwain

Yes, you are right! Abu Dhabi is also an emirate not a country and it is the capital of United Arab Emirates. Let us know more about these two emirates of UAE, an emirate is similar to a city in other countries.

DUBAI

It is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene. Burj Khalifa, an 830m-tall tower, dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline. At its foot lies Dubai Fountain, with jets and lights choreographed to music. On artificial islands just offshore is Atlantis, The Palm, a resort with water and marine-animal parks.

BURJ KHALIFA

At over 828 metres (2,716.5 feet) and more than 160 stories, Burj Khalifa holds the following records:

Highest outdoor observation deck in the world

I can remember how hard it is to take a picture of my friends that the tip of Burj Khalifa will be included.

BURJ AL ARAB

At 321 meters above sea level, Burj Al Arab is the tallest all-suite hotel in the world. It is the tallest single structure on a man-made island, taller than the Eiffel Tower and 60 meters shorter than the Empire State Building. You will be in awe of its structures and designs especially when you see how beautiful and luxurious inside the hotel.

This is just one of the beautiful views that you can see while riding the metro. Another fact about Dubai is it is the only emirate that has a metro for transportation.

ABU DHABI

It is the capital city of United Arab Emirates. The Origin of the name “Abu Dhabi” is uncertain. However, its Meaning is “Father of the Gazelle”, which is literally translated from Arabic. From the Perspective of Bilal al-Budoor, assistant under-secretary for Cultural Affairs at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development, “The area had a lot of dhibaa and was nicknamed after that and a man who chased deer who was called the father of Dhibaa.

SHEIKH ZAYED GRAND MOSQUE

This architectural work of art is one the world’s largest mosques, with a capacity for an astonishing 40,000 worshippers. It features 82 domes, over a 1,000 columns, 24 carat gold gilded chandeliers and the world's largest hand knotted carpet. The main prayer hall is dominated by one of the world’s largest chandeliers –10 metres in diameter, 15 metres in height and weighing twelve tonnes. The mosque's first ceremony was the funeral of its namesake, Sheikh Zayed, who is buried at the site.

FERRARI WORLD ABU DHABI

The world’s first Ferrari-branded theme park is home to a winning mix of Ferrari inspired rides and attractions, the biggest Ferrari Store and a range of authentic Italian dining options, so there’s plenty of choice for the whole family.

You'll be amazed on the Ferrari cars that were displayed and there are lots of Ferrari memorabilia in the place. The loud screams of joy can be heard as people rode the Ferrari roller coaster and other rides to the amusement park.

LOUVRE ABU DHABI

It is the first museum of its kind in the Arab world: a universal museum that is a cultural beacon, bringing together different cultures to shine fresh light on the shared stories of humanity. It opens to the public just last November 2017.
