When someone wants to be alone for a while, he sometimes chooses to sit in the corner of the room. As a sign that he doesn't want to be disturbed for a while, whether it's to clear his mind or want to finish his work that has accumulated or is late. It is wise for us to respect his will, and still have the good idea that it is because he needs some time out.
And the corner, it is a place where one can get close to either side. So that's how I illustrate this beach. That's because it's located in a secluded location between two cliffs with a sandy beach only about 500 meters away. The sandy beach is not wide, filling the corner space between the two cliffs. It looked like a remote natural corner. But now, an access has been established to the corner, although it is still a natural dirt road, and the natural area there has changed to become no longer a remote place. On the contrary, the corner becomes crowded with visitors or beachgoers. So, someone could choose that place to be alone, but sure, he is not alone there.
The beach can also be said to almost resemble a very small bay. It is called Momong beach. It is said that the name refers to the word Mon which means well, because it is said that at that location, in the past, many dug wells were found. The beach itself is one of a chain of recreational beaches on the coast of the Lampu'uk area in Aceh Besar, northwest Sumatra.
The sea breeze that never stops blowing and driving the waves to the beach seems to be lodged in the green hillside wall which is the headland. The green hill with trees guarantees coolness even though it's during the day when the sun is hot. We can feel there the air which is like a cocktail where the dry air from the sea has been mixed with the cool air which has the aroma of various plants from the green hills.
Let's take a look at the situation and panoramas there.
A dirt road which is the only access to and from Momong beach.
We'll also go up the hill to a gap that will lead us to shore.
This is the first sight we see after passing through the gap.
Seen a lot of dragonflies there. If you stand there, they can circle you, and they look so tame, you can catch them if you want. Are they there to welcome us? 😁. But seeing so many of them there, I began to believe there used to be many wells and clean water sources. Between the water source and the dragonflies I think there is a connection.

Well! Now we are at the location. What you can see is one of the cliffs, the other cliff is the place where this photo was taken.
Cliff views like the one above, you have seen that too on the entrance ticket.
