That one time I landed on the Moon

In the Northern part of Iceland exists the Hverfjall Volcano. It's is a huge crater that you can hike up to the top and offers amazing views of the landscape around.

Walking up to the top feels like you're entering another planet. Did you know they actually filmed parts of Intersteller here?

Visiting the crater was an unforgettable feeling that I have never experienced in all my years of travel. At the top, it's more than peaceful. It's almost as if I was entering a new stage of enlightenment, but at the same time the elements in Iceland are very unforgiving.

After a 10 minute meditation, we opened our eyes and discovered we were surrounded by the fog. It was beautiful to be right in between the dichotomy of the elements and the serene. This place will forever have a special place in my heart.
