Sheraton Tokyo

There are a couple of Hotels in the world where you have problems getting a Suite at a Starwood Property. The Sheraton Miyako is basically never upgrading Platiniums to Suites. (They only have 6 Suites available and these are booked usually)

This time I got really lucky and was upgraded to the Suite for a whole week. Compared to the normal rooms the Suite is really really nice and I didn't want to leave the hotel. I would not pay the normal rack rate of 800USD for this Suite, but as a free upgrade this is really a fantastic upgrade.e

Did you ever had problems getting an upgrade as a SPG Platinum ???
