Meeting at the Fish Farm

The reason I flew to Cambodia was to meet Hive account@redpalestino. We had spoken in chat since 8 month and as he didn't make it to Hive account@steemfest, we promised each other to meet somewhere in the world. The first attempt of our Meeting did not suceed, I left Bangkok when he arrived so I flew to Cambodia this time.

This is the next person I met through Steemit and we instantly felt like old friends. It was so much fun to meet Hive account@redpalestino at his farm. Really inspiring to see him building his Farm in Phnom Penh. I know how it feels to go to a country and to build something totally new. I really respect that effort and I will visit him in the coming month again to check if the fish are bigger than ;)

There is so much drama regarding Steemit, but I have to say that this is the best platform for me to meet real people, great people. I have not met one new friend through Facebook, Steemit has the advantage that you can follow someone, read his/her blog and know a lot about that person before meeting.
