I thought I had experienced all Scams in the world but last time in Hawaii I fell for one. Well I am not sure if it was a scam so let's call it a clever marketing campaign. There was this booth giving out papers with discounts codes in it. I got a 50% off voucher so I decided to pay the 9.95 USD for an oyster.

So first Pearl which came out of an oyster was silver and as I needed another one for my niece so I invested another 9.99 USD and that one was pink. The pearls looked beautiful but I wonder if I got tricked into buying 2 expensive pearls at 20 USD? So could anybody tell me if I should not have bought the pearl for that price there? The shop tried to upsell me a ring, the cheapest was 250USD, which I declined, maybe that was the real sale they wanted to make?
