Hello friends.
Today the theme is the Egyptian Museum of Berlin, housed in the Neues Museum on Berlin’s Museum Island.

The Egyptian Museum displays some of the world's most important ancient Egyptian artifacts, among which the bust of Queen Nefertiti, the wife of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten. The bust is 3,300 years old, and was found in a workshop in Amarna, Egypt. You can read more about it at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nefertiti_Bust.
When I visited the museum, the bust was kept in its own room, and there was a queue to get in. The room was dark, and there was a security guard prohibiting taking pictures, so I don't have any pictures of my own to show.

There were a lot of other stunning objects in the museum, like for example sarcophagi, gold jewels and artifacts, canopic jars, sculptures, and some amazing murals.
