Good day friends.
Today, in my last post about Venice, I would like to share some more pictures I took from my trip there. It is a beautiful place to visit, the people are quite friendly, and there is so much to see and do.

I couldn't resist including a painting of Venice by Canaletto, famous for his urban landscapes of Venice.

Whichever direction you turn your head at, there is always something pretty to see, and a picture you can take:
And of course, there is a reason behind the fact that so many people choose Venice for their honeymoon:
Romantic Venice
As far as food and drink is concerned, this being Italy can offer you some amazing pasta dishes. I tried a lot of pasta dishes and pizzas there, and they were quite good. I had pasta with black truffles in Lido, and it was excellent. I actually remember the fact that the smell of the truffles was a bit peculiar, not quite fragrant, but the taste was an experience. I would definitely recommend trying it, if you like mushrooms.
Also, it's a good chance to try the famous Bellini cocktail at the place it was born, Harry's Bar. Harry's Bar opened in 1931, and has been frequented by royalty and artists like Orson Welles, writers like Ernest Hemingway, etc.
And that's my last post about Venice. Next thread will be about another beautiful and sunny place in Greece, Santorini!
