Hello Steemians,
In this post, I will share with you some pictures from my trip to the Rinca island, back in July 2009.
Rinca is a small island in Indonesia, part of the Sunda Islands archipelago.
It is also one of the main three islands that constitute the Komodo National Park. The park is famous for the Komodo dragons, giant lizards that can measure up to 3 metres long (1).
Apart from the dragons, Rinca is also populated with many other species, such as wild pigs, buffalos, monkeys, deers, and many birds. And snakes.
Apart from the destination, the journey was also an experience. That's why I will start with some pictures from the boat trip, through the beautiful islands of the archipelago.
And that's all for today. I hope you liked my post, and that you will follow me to my next one.
Have a good day, and we'll speak again soon!
