My wife and I love to travel. Our recent trip to Pompeii was amazing. From the awesome view of Mt. Vesuvius in the background to seeing all of the buildings that are still erect after being covered by volcanic ash from the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79. What an experience!
If you ever get the chance to visit this wonderful place, make sure you have a whole day in order to take your time and enjoy all of the sites that Pompeii has to offer. It is definitely worth the trip. I would recommend taking time to read about the story of the city before you visit, it really helps when you are walking through the city and you feel like you know the history behind it.
Make sure that you check out The Amphitheatre of Pompeii , it was very well preserved.
