Borongan was just a small town back in 1600 and was called as Guiborongani. It was called on its present name due to the heavy fog that usually covered the place. ( I can't thank google enough )

Work has caged us for months we forgot how it felt like to decompress so we decided to take a break from the city. We planned a trip-to-Samar with friends. We flew to have a quick vacation and to surf. It was nice to get away from the city and home for a while because I felt like I needed an escape and some relaxing. Samar definitely gave me that. What I like about this city was the calmness, locals, each sunsets, and food! What I loved most was the deep fried buttered lobster because I was able to eat literally, every single part of it, even its head! Part of the trip was about surfing and trying different spots. Since I'm new in surfing, all I can say is that it was worth the travel. We stayed in Boro Bay hotel and the place was perf! The people in Borongan were very nice and welcoming. I can't wait to go back soon for a longer period of time.
So here's a view of how my trip went...
And this trip wouldn't be complete without these people who actually made our getaway memorable and fun!
Also.. Shoutout to #CebuPacific #CebuPacificAirline for making this trip possible and hassle free.
