Barcelona City - Ciutadella Park
Barcelona, also called by locals Barna, has become one of my top beloved cities (besides London and Athens).
I have got quite a collection of photos taken around the city and today I decided to share the ones that I took in Parc de la Ciutadella ("Citadel Park").
This park was built in 19th century in the place of former military citadel. It is located in the city centre, right on the corner of Ciutat Vella ("Old City"), and 5 minutes walk from the Barceloneta Beach.
[The park's main fountain built by Josep Fontserè with possible contributions by the young Antoni Gaudí.]

[The passage leading from the park towards Arco de Triunfo de Barcelona.]
[The main promenade in the park.]
[The Zoology Museum of Barcelona.]
[The little fountain.]
[Some nice places for picnic.]
[The park's lake.]
[You can hire the boat.]
[Regardless of how many people vitis the park, the water in the lake was clear.]
[The lake. Panoramic View.]
[The real size mammoth sculpture!]
[Plaça de Joan Fiveller.]

[Some great places to sit and relax.]
All photos have been taken with my Motorola G5 smartphone, so the panoramic shots have a bit worse quality.
