My First Visit To Benin City, #Steemcamp event and meeting with #steemjet music department

Hey guys, it's a cold Saturday morning over here in the busy city of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. I travelled to Benin on Thursday to attend the #Steemcamp Miss Steem Nigeria Event by Hive account@michaelcj. Unfortunately, you will not be seeing photos about it as I had a little miscalculations that got me to Benin later through planned to, so I called Hive account@prettyjules158 to be there for Hive account@wafrica.

The Trip

I woke up by 3:00am to prepare but by 3:30am it was already raining so fierce we couldn't drive to the bus terminal in time, we finally got there by 6:00 but all the buses to Benin from Abuja were delayed for four hours. After what seemed like an eternity I finally arrived at Tips Bar in Benin where the #Steemcamp event was held.

Welcome To Benin

On arrival, I met Hive account@prettyjules, Hive account@juli1 and Hive account@michaelcj. We had a cold beer and quickly had some discussions with Hive account@prettyjules158 and Hive account@michaelcj. Mike is a wonderful guy, I am totally impressed with his work and stamina with the SteemCamp event. Please show him some supports, I'll talk more about his project in another post.

The evening was filled with lotta events, discussions and some more beers before I retired to my hotel.

Visit To Kada Plaza and Meeting #Steemjet Music Team.

I was planning to return to Abuja the yesterday when I received a call from Hive account@mrprecious and Hive account@etemi that they are in Benin and would want to meet with me. Hive account@mrprecious and Hive account@etemi are the leading members of Hive account@steemjet music department. Their voice can break glass and heal the sick.

We met at kada plaza to discuss important issues bothering the Steemjet music department. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. So, I already had vegetable soup and what they call Santana(fufu), so I opted for chicken and salad.

and visited to cinema to watch the movie Rampage

The movie was a bomb, I totally enjoyed every bit of it. Today, I'll take a walk with Jules to her popular mission road before heading back to Abuja. Thanks to Hive account@michaelcj, Hive account@prettyjules158, Hive account@juli1, Hive account@etemi, Hive account@mrprecious, and the two new Steemians I met at the hotel Hive account@bibiama and Hive account@mrglowz.
