Hi everyone! Today we are going back to the national park "Les Cévennes" for an unexpected hike!

This is a translation of my previous post in french that you can find here
So let's start with the beginning: Waking up in the tent with (soluble) coffee... As you can see the camp is kind of "roots" but no worries, we get used to everything of course! (And don't mind the bottle of "Ricard")

So the beginning of the path we had chosen is at the Orgon waterfalls which is cool because most of the time you walk first and get to see the view or waterfall after... So we started in a great mood!

So here in my French article I had the perfect quote but it's from a French movie "La Haine" ... I'll translate it anyway ^^
"For now, it's all good"

so here is where it starts to get a bit rough! So as usual we thought " No map, not a problem we will use our feeling as usual" and as usual... We got lost! But it was cool, a nice hike in the woods.
The great thing about underwoods is that you lose all your sense of direction, and it feels like a different world! A little trick, to find the north, you just spot on wich side of the trees the moss grows. As the sun sunlight comes from the south, the moth will prefer the other side: the north side. (and it is the opposite in the south hemisphere)

When I look at this picture I think we are excused for getting lost ;-) How can you know where you are going in such a forest?!
After an hour or more of walk, we found ourselves on the mountain's flanc, a steep place but the view is amazing! We decided to stop and eat here, a little corner of paradise!

As you can see, it is worth walking sometimes... I promise !

I don't recall seeing any wild animals, but Amélie tells me we saw a "sanglier" (wild pig) in the woods. But no pictures..
The one thing I remember because they were everywhere are the mushrooms. Another cool thing about underwoods in Europe. But we have no experience in that so the best rooms with theses guys is When you don't know, you don't touch

After another long walk between the trees, we arrived at the civilisation, and by civilisation, I mean a bridge, a road and our car!
But first another waterfall to end this hike perfectly!

Thank you for following our trip! Until next time!

So even if this is a short post, I would like it to appear on the the .and i recommend every traveller to use the map and the #traveldigest
