Have a visit and stay with ibu Jero’s family at Sunset Homestay. Their home is located close by couple of waterfalls and also nearby the famous lake. Not only that, they also has a second floor which overlooking the mountain and the lake. They also served various options of meal from vegetarian to non vegetarian which are worth to try.
Dining in with the view like below, is something you should never miss while staying at this place.
The room is quite decent with the budget that was offered. It comes with a clean sheets but the shower was too small. We couldn’t complain much as that was the only thing with reasonable budget we could find.
The hospitality that was offered was amazing. The family helped me heal the wound that was caused by a little accident I had while hiking. They were very accommodating as well. However, if you are looking a place with a decent Wi-fi, you’d better get your own.Generally, the connection around this area is very terrible. It’s always great to get your own internet while traveling to this area.
It was rather difficult to find a nice and budget friendly accommodation around this area. We tried to find one through airbnb but it was too expensive for our budget. We found this through traveloka again and it was one of the cheapest we could find and nearby all the attractions.
It wasn't that cheap compared to all the places we've been. However, this one was the cheapest we could find that comes with a great host and a family. We shared a little story about the balinese living and I got a glimpse to look past the glamorous party life of Bali.
