Well guys, after a period of not posting i felt I should elaborate on why the posts have stopped - the simple response if we have sold the caravan...
Living in the caravan was our dream for a few years and i can say the whole experience totally lived up to our expectations, we loved almost every min and did not want to stop - unfortunately the caravan just was not upto daily living ( as i had anticipated but i needed to try as it may have made things alot cheaper for us)
Things were going wrong pretty regularly, and the dealer we used was great and fixed them every time..But once warranty was out it would have been a huge money pit. So I sold back to them at a 20% loss on purchase price.
It was a costly experience but we both agree well worth it. It has confirmed to us that it IS a lifestyle we want but a trailer is not the answer.,.
Not it is time to start saving for something that will last - a van.
