This morning, my dear and I went to the Mara'a cave.

At the entrance to the site, spring water coming from these stones is placed at the disposal of visitors
By entering the site in the direction of the cave, one finds several variety of plants along the path

And... welcome to the Mara'a Cave
The story goes that when King Pomare III died, his cousin still bathed in this cave when the soldiers arrived to announce the news and then brought her back to the village for her enthronement. She became the queen of Tahiti and was named Pomare IV.
This cave also holds several legends
But other more beautiful sites exist on the island of Tahiti that I will introduce you a next time.
