I went to Top Golf for the first time!

I had known about Top Golf for sometime now, but I had never gone. There is one not far from where my daughter lives, so we decided to go. My grandson was at his school, so we only had my granddaughter.

If you don’t know Top Golf is an upscale driving range with great food service and a bar. They have games you play when driving your golf ball.

You pay by the hour and it ranges between $25 and $45 per hour depending on the day and time of the day. If you bring lots of friends, you can make it a party.

Here you can see the range with the big round circles of different colors that you try to hit your ball in. Each circle is a different yardage.

This shows the yardage and you wave your club over a sensor and it spits out a ball. Each ball has a micro chip in it. The computer then can track your ball to see where it goes.
There is a screen where you can see each players score and how many balls they have left. This was very easy to set up. They have about 6 different games you can play. One is the longest drive another is Top Chipping where the target is close.

Here I am getting ready to hit one. I used to play golf more about 10 years ago, so I knew what I was doing, but still having not played for so long, I was a little nervous. I did hit a great first shot. Beginners luck I guess.

We ordered some chips and guacamole. It was very good. They also have all kinds of food like burgers and chicken.

You can bring your own clubs, but if you don’t have any, they have these that you can use. They have several different lengths.

Here is the bar area. It is very nice and you can come here just to eat or drink and not have to play golf.

We all had a great time! I will go to the Top Golf that is about 45 minuets from my house when I get back to Florida. If you like golf you should give it a try. Lots of fun!
