Hassan II Mosque is the largest mosque in Casablanca. It was designed by French architect Michel Pencio and built by Buejios. This mosque stands high on the Atlantic Ocean and can be seen through the giant glass floor. It accommodates 25,000 worshipers. The mosque's courtyard accommodates about 80,000 others, bringing the mosque's total to about 105,000 at any given time. The prayer hall in the mosque is large and the minaret is long, with a height of about 210 m. The mosque offers one-hour tours throughout the day for non-Muslim tourists to learn about the Islamic religion.
