Do you ever wonder what is like up in the arctic. Any polarbears in the steeets? Any penguins as well?
Tromsø is a small city on a small island located 350 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. It is the largest city in Northern Norway.
September to March is the best time to see the wonderful phenomen northern lights. Many tourist come visiting that time.
From 20 May to 20 July we have midnight sun so it is light all around the clock.
Because of the Gulf stream, Tromsø has a mild climate for such a northerly destination. So there is no polarbear or penguin in the streets. But we do have reindeer.
Do you want to see a polarbear in real life - travel to Svalbard.
The poem of today:
You don't fit in my friend
What are you doing in my steeet, dear polarbear?
And in my garden?
Don't you want to be with your friends?
The penguin and the walros
You don't fit in, even you are my friend
You can't the rules you say
You just follow your dreams
And I have dreams too.
A polarbear in my street
