As you know, going on military service is mandatory in some countries such as my own. I had to go on military service six years ago and the photo is the beginning day of it. It was a great experience for me because it was my first time to live in another city independently.
My residence was in Zanjan, one of the cities in the west of Iran. Zanjan has great places to visit such as Dome of Soltaniyeh, which is one of the largest brick domes in the world, just at the theoretical engineering limit for a brick dome and the third largest dome in the world after the domes of Florence Cathedral and Hagia Sophia.
You can also visit the Salt men were discovered in the Chehrabad salt mines, located on the southern part of the Hamzehlu village, on the west side of the city of Zanjan, in the Zanjan Province in Iran. By 2010 the remains of six men had been discovered, most of them accidentally killed by the collapse of galleries in which they were working.
After archaeological studies which included C14 dating of different samples of bones and textiles, one of the Salt Men was dated to about 1,700 years ago.
