After our () hike to see Panther Creek Falls, we made our way west on the river and headed towards gorgeous Beacon Rock, which is an amazing rock structure that peaks high like a mini mountain. Just near the rock structure is the amazing Pool of Winds aka Rodney Falls and Hardy Falls. It was a pretty grueling steep hike to get to the falls but well worth it as it didn't seem to take too long (though we must admit, our thighs were dead the next day)!
When we first got to the Hardy Falls, they have a viewing platform where you can see up and down, but you can really see the falls unless you go way off the trail down. My last photo is as far as I got, but Hailey went all the way down to the edge and dangled her feet off the edge, giving me a near anxiety attack as usual....lol. Wish the was a better view of the falls, like from the bottom, but the other falls more than made up for it.
We then climbed up the trail and steps to the Pool of Winds, which is where you can get right next to the falls and feel the cool rush of the water and feel the power as it rushes by. Hailey was so close she said it was literally taking her breath away! (Be careful, very wet!)
We then climbed down the beautiful bridge where you can see the majority of the falls. There is even a falls I didn't picture but on the way down, could see in the distance. We highly recommend you take this hike if you are ever in the area. We combined it in a day with Panther Creek Falls, and had we got an earlier start would have done one more that day.
